AGENDA FOR THE DAY

Plans are as follows:

2pm to 4pm

Sunshine and playing in Clissold Park
We shall be in the children's area to the front-right of Clissold House. There is a cafe and amenities close by in the park. It's a dog-free area and there is a children's playground behind Clissold House.

This part of the day is mainly to let the kids run around and burn off energy so they are manageable in the pub later but all comers are welcome. Chances are we won't be providing any food or booze so bring your own if you're starting early.
If the weather is rubbish we'll skip the park and head to the pub from 3pm so call us if in doubt.

4pm onwards
Various activities in a dead nice pub. We'll be heading from the park to The Londesborough at around 4pm. It's a lovely pub which we never discovered back when we lived nearby, although this may have something to do with it almost exclusively hosting weddings every weekend.

4pm to 7pm
Games competition for grown ups, possible childrens entertainment depending on the numbers.
For adults we are holding a board/card/parlour games competition. Participation is voluntary and there will be plenty of other space in the pub for non-gamers to mingle.

The list of games is here on the website. The idea is that everyone can get to know each other over a couple of hours, with some friendly competition in the games.

There will be a free bar whilst the money holds out and bar snacks included.
We'll bring some toys for the kids and attempt to distract them between 4 and 7, with kids food served at 5:30pm.

7pm to 8pm
Food served. Posh barbeque served in the pub garden if the weather holds out, indoors otherwise. There will be meat and vegetarian options.

8pm

Games competition awards, plus a selection of speeches and readings.

From 8.30pm/9pm onwards
DANCING!

12:30am
Pub closes. The bar closes and music volume drops at midnight, but we shall probably need about half an hour to say goodbye to everyone.

Finsbury Park Station is probably your best bet for getting home as the underground trains run all night. We're not providing a mini-bus but assuming most people are heading the same way then please share taxis.
